our gift shop and furniture showroom. Across the parking lot, you’ll
find our homestead farms delicatessen &
bakery, where you’ll find a variety of wholesome sandwiches,
salads, soups and snacks. Be sure to sample our homemade ice cream
and our freshly baked pastries, cookies and pies.
Beyond the Deli is our blacksmith shop, heritage
forge and homestead
gristmill, our 1760’s restored gristmill, where we
grind fresh flour daily. Stop in for a sample made from one of our
specialty baking mixes—cookies, muffins, cornbread and more—all
blended from our freshly ground flour and fresh, wholesome ingredients.
Also allow time to visit heritage
farm, our working homestead. Here, you’ll find demonstration
gardens as well as homestead farm & garden
supply, which offers a wide variety of seeds, animal feed,
garden tools and homestead supplies. Our historic
building walking tour will interest anyone interested in restored,
historic buildings. Our village contains seven restored buildings
that originated in the 1700- 1800’s.

From IH-35, take Exit 343 and turn
west on FM 308. Travel 3 miles, then turn right (north) onto FM
933; drive 1.5 miles. Watch for the sign and turn left (west) onto
Halbert Lane. Brazos de Dios lies .5 miles ahead. For more information
